Leisure & Community
For leisure and community projects to be successful, they must cater for the functional needs of the users as well as providing an enjoyable environment. It is essential that they have sufficient appeal to compete with shopping malls, restaurants, cinemas and other leisure attractions.
We believe that whatever the size of the project - whether a large multi-court sports centre or a small community hall - this objective can only be achieved by close involvement with the potential users throughout the process.
We have designed many leisure projects for public and private clients both locally and nationally; we are fully informed of the current guidelines suggested by Sport England and other National Associations, who encourage quality designs that:
- Maximise customer appeal.
- Minimise the need for extensive staffing.
- Reduce energy consumption.
- Reduce maintenance.
